Refuge

I guess one could read all kinds of symbolism into this photo if they really wanted to. I had stepped inside this burnt-out telescope for a momentary reprieve from the unfriendly weather. As it is sadly roofless these days, however, there were puddles on the ground which were being buffeted by the wind. Well, it's not everyday I see bodies of water (you'd understand if you lived here!) so I happily set to work trying to catch some ripples and just generally experimenting (luckily there was no-one around to look at me like I was crazy ).

(well, not really. Then I went outside and took some more photos, but I think that's quite enough babbling from me )

[By the way, does anyone else see the face of the little old lady among the pebbles? Staring out like a ghost. Freaky...]
